Both spouses have equal rights to own, use, and dispose of this property. They may agree on its use or conclude an agreement regarding the allocation of shares.<\/p>\n<h3>What is included in joint property?<\/h3>\n<p>Joint property of the spouses includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Property acquired during marriage (except for personal items).<\/li>\n<li>Income of each spouse, including salaries, scholarships, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Money and other assets received under contracts made in the interest of the family.<\/li>\n<li>Items purchased for professional use (musical instruments, medical equipment, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Divorce does not terminate the right to joint ownership of property acquired during the marriage. Property division is a legal procedure where each spouse&#8217;s share is determined.<\/p>\n<h3>How to properly divide property in a divorce?<\/h3>\n<p>Property division can be carried out by mutual agreement or through the court in the event of a dispute. Spouses may enter into an agreement in which one spouse transfers their share of the joint property to the other.<\/p>\n<p>Generally, the shares of the spouses are equal, but they can be adjusted depending on the agreement between them (marriage contract, property division agreement).
